This project was a true dialogue between history and contemporary design. Located in the iconic hortus Redentoris, in the shadow of Palladio’s masterpiece, our challenge was to introduce a new architectural layer while preserving the soul of the place.

A small warehouse was to be reimagined as a multifunctional public space, housing a library, a temporary exhibition space and a small bistro. A beautiful little chapel also had to be brought back to light.

For this delicate balance of restoration and innovation, we carefully curated materials: local stone, raw wood, plaster, custom-designed metal mesh for furniture, and dark iron accents for subtle yet striking details.
