Annarita Aversa

Annarita Aversa is an Italian architect and designer, focused on searching a harmonious balance between the preservation of local cultural identity and contemporary design.

After studying Architecture at “La Sapienza” University of Rome and at ETSAB University of Barcelona, she collaborated for over six years with some of the most stimulating architectural firms in the European panorama – in Holland, in Spain and in Milan.

In 2013, Annarita founded her own studio in Amalfi, ‘Architetti Artigiani Anonimi’, with the second base in Milan since 2018, where she works on different scales and fields of architecture.

From Greece to Frankfurt, Annarita has worked with European private clients, designing residential and commercial spaces. Her projects have been featured in interiors and architecture magazines and books.

After a long product design experience in collaboration with fine artisans, she has been invited to collective design exhibitions in Italy and abroad. In 2022, she presented her first collectible design project for Giustini Stagetti gallery in Rome - ‘Proporzione Mediterranea’- acquired by Maxxi Museum in 2024.

In addition to interiors and products design, she has also leaded the 14 000 sqm-architecture-design in Salerno - Molino Nuovo - starting a research project on restoring empathy between humans and their living environments.

She has always been tied to her territory of origin, the Amalfi coast, enhancing its value through participatory planning initiatives as “Due Punti Architettura” and ‘Vademecum’, a project for the preservation of the architectural and landscape heritage of the Amalfi coast, now exhibited in Venice Architecture Biennial’s Italian Pavilion.
